On this page, you can learn more about our policies regarding purchases, returns, freight damaged items and procedures.

Purchasing

We do not store your credit card or payment information.  C. Botkin Enterprises Ltd. uses PayPal as a secure, third-party payment processor.  Please contact us to alter, change or confirm an order if you have concerns.  Please note, PayPal will confirm the order if it is completed.  All orders will ship once full payment has been received and the item is in stock.  For e-cheques, there may be a delay while the payment is processed.  Once an order is shipped, it is subject to the Returns & Exchange policy below.

Freight Damage

C. Botkin Enterprises Ltd. is not responsible for items damaged during shipping.  All orders are shipped insured with their replacement value.  We will do our best to initiate a claim and send a replacement product when available and as quickly as possible in the event of damage during shipment.  Inspect all items within 5 days of receipt to ensure there is no damage. Damage claims received after 5 days of customer receipt will not be accepted.

Incorrect or Incomplete Orders

Orders will be shipped complete, whenever possible.  If this is an issue, or an item is marked back-ordered at the time your order is placed, we will notify you and your order will ship when all products become available.  Please contact us regarding inventory if your order is time-sensitive.

Mistakes can happen… If we shipped the incorrect order, or your order is missing parts, please contact us immediately so we can do our best to rectify the problem.

Warranty

All products are covered by Brinsea’s warranty policy.  Service is available through Brinsea on new and used products, by contact Brinsea Products Inc. at www.brinsea.com. We are not able to service items in Canada at this time.  Please contact Brinsea before sening products for warranty or service to determine if the issue is covered by your warranty.  Please note, a serial number is required for all service.  ALL new Brinsea products are identified with a serial number on the unit and packaging.

Returns & Exchanges

We cannot accept any products that have been used for return.  To return an unused product, contact us within 30 days of receipt of your items(s).  If an item is returned without prior authorisation, the shipment will not be accepted at our warehouse.  All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.  Shipping will not be refunded, and the return shipping must be at the customer’s expense.  Once received and inspected to confirm new condition, a refund will be issued within 30 days.

Please note, this policy is necessary as equipment we handle is all new to protect our customers from exposure to potentially contaminated returns.  Birds can harbour diseases even when not exhibiting symptoms.  Some of these can be passed through the female’s reproductive system and into or onto an egg as it is formed or laid.  Even though an incubator may appear clean, it could possibly be contaminated and returned products can act as a physical vector.

To initiate a return on an item within 30 days of receipt and in new condition, please contact us and we will be happy to walk you through the process.

Please note, we do not sell used incubators.
